Savegre is located in the
Forest of Paramo in the Death National Park. You will notice
a gradual change in the type of vegetation as soon as you
exit the metropolitan area, and begin ascending the National
Park’s mountains. This route will take you through the
Forest of Paramo and eventually to the Hotel Savegre. Once
there, you may embark on a guided search for the elusive Quetzal,
considered to be the most beautiful bird of the New World.
